Band Booster
The Booster organization supplies the “enhancements” that bring our program to a higher level. They organize and maintain the voluntary support and fundraising efforts to allow the director to focus her attention on the students and the music curriculum. The less time and effort has to spend on these issues, the better the program will be for the students. The boosters represent the body of parents who support financial and organizational decisions that are beyond the scope of the basic curriculum.
Parents who are actively engaged in volunteering and fundraising are a vital edition to the success of the program. In fact, the program cannot exist without the support of our parents. The encouragement and attendance at performances is also extremely important. All students feel a greater sense of worth and self-esteem when they can share these experiences with their family members.
EVERY parent is a booster and EVERY parent can make a difference!

Here are ways you can participate as a Band Booster:
- Chaperones for games, performances, festivals, etc.
- Medically trained parents for minor first aid
- Minor alterations/sewing for uniforms
- Fitting and assigning uniforms
- Fundraising committee
- Website specialist
